A motorbike rider has suffered serious injuries after being found lying on the road when his green Kawasaki motorbike crashed.
About 12.30am, police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Hume Street and Somerset Street in South Toowoomba.
Queensland Ambulance Service said the man was assessed after a motorcycle collided with a tree.
He was taken to Toowoomba Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition with leg and head injuries.
Police are appealing to any with relevant information, CCTV footage, or dashcam vision leading up to the incident to contact Policelink.
Investigations are ongoing.
Meanwhile at Willowbank three people have been taken to Ipswich Hospital following a two-vehicle crash on the Cunningham Highway at 6.26pm.
