“The two day event will be held over the weekend of June 12 and 13 with Sunday’s show and shine taking place on the lawn of the Cobb and Co Museum between 9am and 2pm.”

He said there were a lot of registrations coming through and there was a possibility more than the expected 70 vehicles would take part.
“This includes cars driven over from Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales, including friends and partners, there will be around 140 club members in attendance.”

Mr Bell said the annual car show was a great way for members to get together, show off their beloved collection and enjoy another memorable journey in their prized Holdens.

“It’s just as much about the journey as it is the destination,” he said.

“We’ve personally driven the Nullarbor a handful of times in our Holdens to get to shows across the country and it’s been some of the best times spent in the car.”

He said Toowoomba was chosen because of its different historical locations and points of interest.

“We have a number of events organised including drives to the Highfields Historical Village, Picnic Point and Scotty’s Garage which are all sites of interest for our members who are excited at the prospect of exploring a new region in their beloved Holden FB-EKs.

“We can’t wait.”
