More than $1 million was raised at the 2024 Toowoomba LifeFlight gala

The 2024 Toowoomba LifeFlight gala set multiple records, with the largest crowd raising the most amount of money. See the Chronicle’s photo gallery here:

The Toowoomba LifeFlight gala has raised more than $1 million on Saturday evening.

It was a record amount made possible through the generosity of the 700 guests who were wined and dined at the Goods Shed.

The money raised in Saturday’s pledge will support a much-needed, upgraded on-site sleeping facility for the local aeromedical teams which will ensure even faster arrivals at future medical emergencies.

Additional funds raised last night will buy medical and rescue equipment to ensure the aeromedical teams have the best possible equipment when they respond to medical emergencies in the region.

LifeFlight’s free trauma training program First Minutes Matter will also be expanded in the region.
