Man, aged in his 60s, was trapped after crashing into fence

Firefighters freed a man who was encapsulated in his vehicle after crashing into a fence at Crows Nest.

Firefighters used cutting equipment to free a man who was encapsulated in his vehicle after crashing into a fence at Crows Nest.

The incident occurred about 9.45am at an address in Curnow St.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man, aged in his 60s, has sustained serious neck, hip and chest injuries.

Firefighters removed the driver’s side door to free the man.

Paramedics transported the man to the Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
