Lee Kernaghan throws his support behind Darling Downs families doing it tough

VETERAN country music star Lee Kernaghan was the guest of honour at the Chronicle Club’s fundraising dinner on Friday, helping to raise money for Lifeline Darling Downs.

VETERAN country music star Lee Kernaghan was the guest of honour at the Chronicle Club’s fundraising dinner on Friday.

The star mingled with club members, performed a few of his signature ballads and took questions from the audience during a panel discussion.

The event, hosted by the Toowoomba Chronicle, was in support of Lifeline Darling Downs.

Money raised on the night will support hundreds of families and individuals doing it tough this winter.

The Chronicle’s general manager Erika Brayshaw thanked everyone who came.
