A LEADING outlet of travel bags, suitcases and luggage has gone into voluntary administration.
Canberra-based insolvency and restructuring firm Slaven Torline's Michael Slaven and Aaron Torline were appointed administrators of Jimatty Investments Pty Ltd, Taslina Holdings Pty Ltd, and P & J Keogh Pty Ltd yesterday.
The companies traded as Bags to Go Group, Bags to Go Factory Outlet, Travelite Travelgoods, Bags to Go, Travelite, and Travelite Retail & Trend Bags.
Toowoomba's Margaret St Bags to Go Group Factory Outlet was closed this morning, and a sign on the door suggested it had been closed since the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions came into force.
"We are closed from today until further notice. We thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented time and hope everyone can stay safe. As COVID-19 evolves and government advice comes to hand we may have to change opening hours and or have closure periods at short notice, we appreciate your support and understanding during this time."
There are also several stock liquidation clearance signs in the shopfront.
The Toowoomba store's page has been scrubbed from the Bags to Go website.
A first meeting of creditors for the three companies will be held on August 4.
The administrators were contacted for comment.
