TONY'S Kitchen has received more than $2000 worth of donated products from Good360 during National Homeless Week.

The products included toothpaste, shower gel, and bed sheets.

"We're going to give them out to our friends on the street who are doing it tough," Tony's Kitchen founder Tony Hurle said.

"Just to give them a bit of dignity when they're having a shower and brushing their teeth, the things we take for granted.

"It's been a wonderful gift for people to come down at night time, grab a meal and some much need products that make them feel good."

Mr Hurle said recipients were glad to receive the goods.

"The smile on their face says it all as always," he said.

"We're very grassroots down here, and to get a gift, even as much as $10, it's really appreciated by all the recipients who come down."

Between 20 and 30 people who are sleeping rough come to Tony's Kitchen each night to receive a hot meal.

"On average we're doing 1090 meals a month down here at the moment," Mr Hurle said.
