Gin Sanity is back, and this year it’s being held at Toowoomba’s rooftop bar in the heart of the city.
Gin Sanity III - The Rise of Queensland is being held at George Banks on Saturday, November 14, and after the cancellation of many events this year it’s the news we needed.
The festival launched in 2018 by Phil Coorey and was first held at Blank Space.
It was the first gin festival to be hosted in Queensland and was created as a celebration of gin in many forms.
Gin Sanity focused on a range of incredible cocktails and world class tonic waters used to make the perfect refreshing Gin drinks.
It was a huge hit with hundreds of people in attendance, both in 2018 and then again last year.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the event will be a little different this year with a limited number of tickets.
Tickets are $59 and attendees get six drinks made up of three cocktails and three perfect pour gin and tonics.
A special celebratory cocktail will be made on the day called the Gin Sanitiser.
This year the festival will focus and pay homage to the state and look at the 40 new gin distilleries which have opened in the past 12 months.
