GemLife lodged plans for the 230-lot over-50s lifestyle resort expansion in April this year.

According to the developer, the resort on Kratzke Rd will boast the latest technology and an extensive offering of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities for active over-50s, in addition to a range of high quality two and three-bedroom home designs and first-class recreational facilities, in a secure, gated estate.

The resort will feature a modern, two-storey country club which will provide a social hub for its over-50s community.

It will accommodate first-class recreational and leisure facilities typical of GemLife resorts such as an indoor heated swimming pool and spa, luxury cinema, gym and yoga studio, ten-pin bowling, games room, an indoor golf simulator, bar and coffee lounge and more.

Outdoor facilities will include an off-leash dog run, tennis court, outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities.

The secure, pet-friendly development will have a gated entry with number-plate recognition.

Homes will be built using the latest technology to ensure superior environmental and thermal efficiency and will be six-star energy rated.

The new resort will complement GemLife’s existing resort, GemLife Highfields.
