The students dressed in their finest for the event held at City Golf Club on Wednesday night. They arrived in an array of vehicles, including Commodores, Jaguars and Mustangs.
Clifton State High School Year 12 coordinator Raymond Donohue said the formal had been the perfect send off after a busy year.
"The students all looked lovely and they were well-behaved," Mr Donohue said.
"Many of the girls went for a natural make-up style and the gentlemen all looked suave.
