HUNDREDS of people turned out to celebrate Christmas and community at the Pure Land Learning College Christmas party held on Saturday night.
The festivities kicked off just after 5pm, with the group's West St premise transformed into a hive of activity.
Traditional Irish music filled the air as the Irish Club Session Players took to the stage and later on Amutha Kandasamy from Hridayam dance school entertained the crowd with a classical South Indian dance. They were joined by other entertainers.
Guests watched the music and dance while sharing a delicious meal, something provided each year by Pure Land in celebration of inclusivity.
More than 800 people were estimated to have attended the event.
