THE Empire Theatre was a hive of activity on November 14, as Toowoomba Flexi School Year 12 graduates stepped out in style to celebrate their formal.
As the sun set on the picturesque venue, the students arrived in stylish vehicles for a walk-in on the front lawn watched on by their families, friends and others from the Flexi community.
"The school leavers enjoyed a lovely meal and presentation, followed by a dance party. A photographer captured memories of the evening and overall the night was a success," a Flexi School spokeswoman said.
Earlier that day, the 16 Year 12 students had their achievements recognised at the school's annual awards ceremony, also held at the Empire Theatre.
"The day was a wonderful occasion that celebrated the successful completion of school and the personal growth and development of these fine young people," the spokeswoman said.
"The 2019 graduates accepted their graduation certificate from USQ Chancellor, Mr John Dornbusch, surrounded by special guests, family, friends, staff, and their mentors. Congratulations Year 12 graduates."
