THE first of dozens of special Carnival of Flowers "#trEATS" has been unveiled ahead of next month's celebration of all things flowers.

Fitzy's has unveiled a deconstructed pavlova as part of the campaign.

"(It will be) available exclusively for the month of September at Fitzy's," the store wrote on Facebook.

"We can't wait to tell you more about this sweet thing."

Carnival of Flowers organisers are hoping to get more than 60 local restaurants, cafes, bars and other outlets signed up to the #trEATS campaign, which would see venues create a springtime special with a set price of $20, available exclusively for the month of September.

The unveiling of the first treat comes as organisers confirmed several community events, that run at the same time as carnival, would not be going ahead.

These include the Bonsai Group show, the Geranium Society show, the Clivia Society annual show, the Orchid Society Spring Show, the Native Orchid Society of Toowoomba display, Succulent Fest and St Stephens Uniting Church craft display.
