Firefighters were called to the scene of a burnt-out utility this morning on a quiet country road.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said a crew was called to a ute on fire on Toolburra Plains Road and Higgins Lane outside Warwick at 7.45am.

Firefighters were on scene by 8am and upon arrival, the ute was still on fire with flames in the cab.

Police believe the ute may have been stolen.

Investigations are continuing.
