A collection of iconic vehicles will be on show next month when a popular event returns after a one-year hiatus.

Klub VW’s Dubs On The Hills is set to welcome hundreds of avid lovers and collectors of Volkswagens, old and new, on March 13 at the Crows Nest Tourist Park.

“After missing 2021 due to, well you know what, our show is back with an exciting new format,” president Neil Batterham said.

“We really didn’t want to miss another year, so we formulated a simpler more relaxed, outdoor format. This year’s theme is “Cars, coffee and chat.”.

“Crows Nest and surrounds has plenty to offer with great cafes, quirky shops and awesome vineyards. Perfect for the iconic VW automobile.

“There is nothing like a good coffee and a warm freshly degreased engine to bring people together.”

Klub VW will also introduce a new element to the showcase, with a convoy set to drive from Toowoomba to Crows Nest.

“A first for Dubs on the Hill, a convoy of VWs (will leave) from Northpoint Shopping Centre Toowoomba at 7.30am to be on site at the Crows Nest Tourist Park just after 8am,” Mr Batterham said.

“We are hoping to make this the largest convoy of VWs ever assembled in Toowoomba.”

Dubs on the Hill will run from 9am to 1pm, with the popular Dubs and Dolls pageant from 11am at the Crows Nest Tourist Park.
