Darling Downs crashes: Two people injured in quad bike roll and two-vehicle crash

Two people have been taken to hospital following separate crashes across the Darling Downs.

A man has been flown to hospital after the quad bike he was riding flipped over and landed on him while he was working on a farm on Monday afternoon.

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter landed near the scene at Hivesville in the South Burnett just after 3pm

The man, aged in his 20s, was riding the quad bike down a hill when the incident occurred.

He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital for treatment of a suspected broken leg.

A bit over an hour later, paramedics were tasked to the scene of a two-vehicle crash just outside Dalby.

The incident on the Warrego Highway and Jandowae Rd at 4.14pm.

A patient was taken to Dalby Hospital in a stable condition.
