Car reported on roof after two-vehicle crash at busy Toowoomba intersection in Newtown

Police were directing traffic through a busy city intersection after it was blocked by a car which flipped onto its roof in a two-vehicle crash.

A car has flipped onto its roof after a two-vehicle crash at a busy Toowoomba intersection.

The crash was reported just before 1pm on Thursday at the intersection of Taylor and Tor Streets in Newtown.

The intersection was briefly closed while the cars were cleared but traffic is now being directed through by police.

Ambulance and fire crews were at the scene but there was no report of serious injury.
