Staff at The Paddock Darling Downs will celebrate the drive-through butcher’s first birthday by holding a fundraiser for Ellie Ross and her family.

All money raised on the day will go to Ellie’s family to help cover medical and travel expenses as she battles leukaemia.

Business owner Ted Ellison will host a family day on Saturday, complete with a jumping castle, petting zoo, face painting, car club show, sausage sizzle with ‘The Herminator’, live entertainment from the Fibonacci Band, giveaways and raffles.

Ellie’s mum Karlie will be at the party collecting toys for children in need and donations from the public are welcome.

“We are beyond grateful for The Paddock’s support in fundraising for our little girl and her leukaemia journey,” she said.

The fundraiser runs from 9am-1pm in the store’s carpark at 224 Ruthven Street on Saturday.
