’Black book of wedding planning:’ Ideal Bride expo coming to Toowoomba

Toowoomba bride and grooms-to-be will find everything they need to make their special day perfect at the upcoming Toowoomba Wedding Expo.

The expo is being held by Ideal Bride and director Andrea Dibbs refers to the event as the “little black book of wedding planning.”

The Toowoomba expo will feature some of the region’s best and most sought after wedding professionals such as photographers, venue owners, florists, wedding planners and makeup artists.

There will be about 50 stallholders at the event and Ms Dibbs said bridal expos such as this were important so brides and grooms could get a first-hand taste of what different businesses could offer them.

“Couples can talk to and discuss any personal requirements they may have face-to-face with the wedding professional in that field,” she said.

“We limit categories across the range so that everyone attending is not overwhelmed by just a few fields in the industry.

“We also pride ourselves on the intimacy, friendly and fun environment we try to introduce so that the shyest of brides will still feel comfortable to engage with our exhibitors and get the best out of their experience.”

The Toowoomba Wedding Expo will be held on Sunday, May 30 from 10am to 2pm.

Entry is $5 online or at the door, with children under 16 free.

Bridal parties can attend for just $20.
