Award-winning Toowoomba builder BBC Qld recently completed The Atrium Residence, at Keira Ct, Blue Mountain Heights.
BBC Qld’s Emily Weeks said the idea of the build was to put together a home “with as much creative flair as we could”.
“Thinking outside the square still can be practical while having that wow factor.”
The home was designed around the sun and its spaces, and bringing the outside in.
Mrs Weeks said a good example of that was the pool area and outdoor area, which receives the morning sun but is shaded in the afternoon by the home’s clever design.
Meanwhile, the main bathroom is easily accessed from the pool area, and takes in breathtaking views of the Toowoomba Bypass and beyond.
“There’s a pop door so that you can have a bath, looking over those views and getting the fresh air … but it’s designed so no one can physically see into that bathroom while you’re doing that,” Mrs Weeks said.
The home also features a central rock garden atrium.
And there’s plenty of fine detail and clever design throughout the stunning kitchen, four bedrooms, and two bathrooms.
It’s been a two-year process from start to finish, buy Mrs Weeks said it had been “a heap of fun”.
“So it’s just been something where we’ve been able to use these ideas we’ve had and really push them to the limit,” she said.
“We’re 100% proud of the outcome.”
The home will go to auction on Sunday, November 1, at 11am.
