Following a year of unprecedented challenges, the Toowoomba and Darling Downs property market has experienced rising real estate prices and low vacancy rates.

When it comes to residential land and property, regional Australia has been the real success story of late, and Highfields is right in the thick of it.

Such is the case with local estate, The Avenues of Highfields, releasing their much-anticipated next stage, The Elevation Precinct, well ahead of schedule to keep up with the high demand for land.

The Avenues of Highfields project director Stephen Bowers said they had an extremely positive start to 2021.

“We expect the rest of the year will continue the same way. We are confident this is the beginning of a longer growth trend within the area,” he said.

“Starting works on The Elevation Precinct is momentous for us. We are excited to be moving onto our next stage with our residual stock in our previous stages selling out very quickly after the announcement of the Federal Government HomeBuilder Grants.

“The Highfields area has such a rich history, partnered with an exciting future – making it the perfect location for singles, couples, families and retirees to invest or reinvest.”

Embarking on the development of The Elevation Precinct in February 2021, The Avenues of Highfields construction continues with local civil contractor Hutchinson’s Civil full steam ahead on site.

With interest in land sales rising since the announcement of the HomeBuilder and Regional Boost Grants in conjunction with low interest rates, and the borrowing market becoming even more accessible to a wider array of candidates, uptake of vacant land acquisitions across the region is expected to continue in a positive upswing.

Highfields has continued to grow in recent times, welcoming an incredible number of new residents in the last five years.

As a thriving and growing urban hub of the region, it is projected the area will welcome an additional 7,000 residents calling Highfields home by 2031.
