A law firm is expanding its operations to the Garden City, setting up in a swish new office space just shy of the Toowoomba CBD. Here’s why its owner has set up shop.

Solicitor Charmaine Malam’s dream of working in her hometown and helping deliver social justice to her clients is coming to fruition as legal service Athena Law prepares open a new firm in Toowoomba.
“I’ve been a solicitor for 20 years covering a range of different types of law in a number of different big firms but it’s been great to return to Toowoomba to pursue my passion for helping people navigate the legal system,” she said.
“I was really drawn to Athena Law’s approach to providing legal support to their clients, it’s all about giving the client clear and straight forward advice when they need it most.”
With five other offices scattered around southeast Queensland, Athena Law principal and director, Mandy Reid said Ms Malam was the perfect person for the role of launching Athena Law’s sixth office.
“Charmaine is passionate about social justice and delivering our clients the best legal advice without all the confusing legal jargon and taking up unnecessary time and money which is what Athena Law is all about,” she said.
