Aldi Plainland: Popular supermarket chain arrives in Lockyer Valley town

This well-known supermarket chain is about to open its doors in this Lockyer Valley town in a matter of days, bringing with it more than 15 jobs.

Shoppers will have more choice and between 15-20 jobs will be created when ALDI opens its doors in Plainland this month.

The Endeavour Way supermarket will operate from Saturday, November 20.

“We offer a supermarket experience that is like no other in Australia and we are proud to call ourselves “good different”. It’s our differences such as having never offered single-use plastic bags, utilising a coin deposit system for our trolleys and our tight product range,” Queensland regional managing director of Queensland Joanne Brown said.

According to Ms Brown, the Plainland store will feature a number of innovations that will offer an enhanced shopping experience for customers including simple navigation, expansive wooden produce bays and a modern interior store design.

Its opening hours will be 8.30am-7pm Monday to Friday, with extended trading hours until 8pm Thursday.

Weekend hours will be Saturday 8am-7pm and Sunday 9am-6pm.
