It’s time to say goodbye to 2020 and celebrate fresh beginnings in the new year. Here are 9 places that are hosting events for New Year’s Eve in Toowoomba.

It’s a year many of us are happy to say goodbye to.

Pubs and bars around town are celebrating the arrival of 2021 in style and you’re invited.

Here are nine places that are putting on events for you to say goodbye to 2020 and ring in the new year.

Rumours International

When: 7pm

One of the most popular New Year’s Eve celebrations will be pushing ahead despite the coronavirus, as the day we get to kick 2020 out the door comes closer and closer.

One of the longest standing NYE traditions in Toowoomba, the Rockout at Rumours International, will be pushing ahead with a program that is sure to welcome 2021 in the right way.

The annual event promises a great line-up of entertainment, including international artist Sue Ray.

Organiser Bevan Betros said now was a better time than any to be celebrating the end of 2020.

Fitzy’s

When: From 6pm

Whip out your brightest outfits because Fitzy’s is hosting a luminous Neon Night party.

With live music from 6pm, cocktails and delicious food Fitzy’s will be a be busy spot come New Year’s Eve.

There are no entry fees or event packages.

The Met Hotel

When: 7pm

The Met Hotel is hosting a Party in the USA style event to see in the new year.

Fenny and The Mets will be performing, and Kings of Cali will also be playing.

There are four-hour drink packages available from 8pm to midnight which includes cocktails, beers, wine, spirits and American food platters.

George Banks

When: From 7pm

It’s obvious everyone needs a reset from 2020 and George Banks is hosting a fitting Control Alt Delete Party from New Year’s Eve.

There is a $119 5-hour package which includes a speciality cocktail avliable all night, a selection of tap beers, sparking wine, canapes and live music.

They also encourage people to dress in certain colours which represent good luck such has green, yellow, silver and white.

The Rock Pub

When: From 6pm

Rock out and say goodbye to 2020 at The Rock.

The two levels will be open allowing attendees to roam the Top Bar and Beer Garden while sipping on cocktails, champagne, wine, spirits and beer.

There will be also live music.

If partying isn’t your thing dinner bookings are being taken from 6pm.

The Cube Hotel

When: 5.30pm

Celebrate new beginnings at The Cube Hotel with its New Year’s Eve Pre Drink Cocktail Jug party.

There is free entry all night and drink packages are available for $39.99.

Club Toowoomba

When: 6.30pm

For a magical night to remember you can head to Club Toowoomba.

It is offering a three-course meal, champagne on arrival and live music by Peter Cockrill for $65.

Bar Wunder

When: 7pm

Bid farewell this tumultuous year farewell with some funky moves and funky tunes.

You can play your favourite music on the jukebox and belt it out with karaoke.

Entry is free.

Shamrock Hotel

From: 8pm

The Shamrock hotel is celebrating 2021 with Drag Queen Karaoke.

There are drinks and capane packages available by phoning 4632 2666.

Members of the LBGTQIA+ community receive a 10% discount on pre-bookings.
