33 roadworks announced by Toowoomba Regional Council this week

The Toowoomba Regional Council is constantly carrying out roadworks across the region, with the projects causing potential disruptions for motorists.

Here are the roadworks happening in the city this week.

Here are 33 roadworks projects being carried out by the TRC to watch out for from today.

Centenary Heights

Mackenzie (Alderley Street to Ballin Drive) – Traffic disruptions may occur during footpath construction works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Mackenzie (South Street to Cassia Street) – Traffic disruptions may occur during footpath construction works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required

Formartin

Jondaryan St Ruth Road (Bowenville Norwin Road to Wainui Soldier Road) – Traffic disruptions may occur during road shoulder works in the area. Signage and Speed Reductions will be in place, as required.

Kingsthorpe

Various Roads – Traffic disruptions may occur during road repair works in the area. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Storeys Road – Traffic disruptions will occur during road works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Meringandan

Spies Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during road works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Oakey

Campbell Street – Traffic disruptions may occur during footpath works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Oakey Cutella Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during gravel resheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Toowoomba City

Russell Street (Victoria Street to Ruthven Street) – Closed to eastbound traffic from 147 February 2021 until further notice. Bongeen Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during road rehabilitation works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Cecil Plains

Various roads – Traffic disruptions may occur during maintenance shoulder grading works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Clifton

East Street – Traffic disruptions may occur during road profiling and pavement reconstruction works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Norwin

Brookstead Norwin Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during DRFA storm recovery works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Toowoomba Cecil Plains Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during DRFA storm recovery works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Southbrook

Droney Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during maintenance re-sheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Jimna Springs Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during maintenance re-sheeting works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place, as required.

Walsh Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Formartin

Ernst Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Gowrie Junction

Old Homebush Road (Birdsong Court to Rody-Burke Road) – Closed to through traffic during road construction works. Resident access will be maintained. Signage and traffic detour in place from January to May 2021.

Highfields

O’Brien Road (Highfields Road to Clarke Road) – Traffic disruptions may occur during road works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Jondaryan

West Prairie Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Kleinton

Lane Road, Creek Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Maclagan

Bunya Mountains Road – Traffic disruptions may occur during road maintenance works. Signage and traffic management measures will be in place as required.

Meringandan West
