PACIFIC Fuels has put forward plans to develop a new service station in Harlaxton.
A development application made to Toowoomba Regional Council shows three slender lots at 133-137 North St, Harlaxton, will be converted into a service station in two stages.
Documents show the first stage of the servo will include eight fuel bowsers and canopy for smaller vehicles, and two diesel fuel bowers and canopy for heavy vehicles.
The first stage will also include swap and go gas, firewood, and a retail ice freezer, as well as a small office and outdoor self-service payment terminal.
Initially, the servo will be unmanned and self-service only, while the second stage will include a fuel shop and covered customer seating area.
The shop will include an office, convenience retail space, and a small commercial kitchen.
"The proposed building has been architecturally designed to respond to the industrial character of the locality and prevailing site constraints," documents said.
"The building will be of contemporary masonry and prefabricated panel construction, with sheet metal roofing and aluminium framed windows."
The servo will operate 24 hours per day, seven days per week as both an unmanned facility in Stage 1, and manned facility with a fuel shop in Stage 2.
