UPDATE: A motorbike rider injured in a crash on the Toowoomba Range which brought traffic to a standstill is in hospital.
The westbound lanes of the Warrego Highway have been cleared after the motorbike and car collided on the westbound lanes at Redwood.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said a man was taken to Toowoomba Hospital with back and wrist pain after the crash about 8.15am.
The collision ground traffic to a near standstill impacting westbound lanes of the Warrego Highway.
Department of Transport and Main Roads traffic cameras showed bumper-to-bumper traffic stretching from the bottom of the Toowoomba Range to past the saddle area, but it has since cleared.
EARLIER, 8.25AM: A traffic crash on the Toowoomba Range has caused gridlock for morning commuters.
Emergency services are on scene of a crash believed to involved a vehicle and motorbike on the westbound lanes of the Warrego Highway near The Tollbar.
Both lanes on the up-section are bumper to bumper traffic from the saddle to Cohoe St.
Traffic is moving slowly on the uphill climb but motorists are warned of possible delays.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said one crew was en route to the crash scene after being called for support from paramedics.
The crash was reported about 8.15am.
