Pop sensation Tones and I has announced that she will be adding a second show in Townsville as part of her Australia and New Zealand Tour.

The singer announced in early April that she would be bringing her headline tour to North Queensland on August 31, with fans excited to snap up tickets.
Tones and I posted to Facebook on Saturday, following the release of presale tickets, expressing the huge demand for tickets in the area.

“Wow Townsville, you really sold out all the pre-sale tickets you crazy crazy kids,” she said in a post.

It’s not just Townsville being given a second show, with Perth also proving a popular spot for Tones and I fans.
The Aussie singer joined Pink on her recent tour and was blown away by the reaction from fans at Queensland Country Bank Arena.

“Townsville you are LOUD!,” she said in a Facebook post after the concerts.

“You shine so bright on your own. Last night you brought the energy of 10 stadiums! The locals are so kind and generous.”

‘We won’t let you down’: Tones and I returns to NQ

Aussie hit maker Tones and I is returning to Townsville, after delighting fans as the opener for Pink’s recent tour.

Tones and I is coming back solo, announcing her headline tour across Australia and New Zealand with dates in September and August.

This will be her third performance in Townsville.

The singer, originally from Byron Bay, will play in Townsville as well as Sydney, Newcastle, Auckland, Brisbane, Fremantle and Melbourne.

This will be the first headline show the singer has done in three years.

“I’m not going to lie, it’s been a long time since I’ve done a headlining tour around Aus and NZ,” the singer said in the announcement on social media.

“I have hope you’ll come and see this show, you know we won’t let you down.”

The singer behind the viral smash hit Dance Monkey will perform in Townsville on Saturday August 31.

Tickets are set to go on sale April 15.
