All three victims in Saturday afternoon’s tragic highway triple fatality have been idenitified: a young couple who were living together and had found love, and their friend, a father-of-two.

Rokeby man Brady Poole, 27, was driving Andrew ‘Evsey’ Everett, 28, and his girlfriend Maddie Baird, 19, in a blue Corolla northbound on South Arm Rd, Sandford, which, about 5.10pm Saturday, police believe swerved into the path of an oncoming car.

Mr Everett and Ms Baird lived together at Howrah and had been dating for about a year, according to social media.

Tragically, the pair caught up with Mr Everett’s dad for a beer the night before they died.

It’s understood Mr Everett worked as a traffic controller.

Meanwhile, Mr Poole was a “great dad to two beautiful daughters”, according to a friend of almost a decade.

The trio all died when the oncoming vehicle, a black Volkswagen, collided with the passenger side of their vehicle.

Two 20-year-olds in the Volkswagen, from South Arm and Rokeby, were taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital in serious condition.

Mr Everett’s younger sister, Nikita, said, “I f****** love you,” one of dozens of people to pay tribute to the deceased when the horrific news broke.

Friend Billy Phillips said Mr Everett was “one-of-a-kind” with a “massive heart”.

Sandford Cricket Club president Jye White told the Mercury the club was “mourning pretty hard”.

“I’ve had phone calls this morning making sure everyone is all right, letting them know help is out there and the club will support all our players,” he said.

“Andy loved the club and the club loved him.

“If you were down he’s a bloke that would bring the laughter out of you.

“When anyone went out to bat, he’d say, ‘Hit a few sixes today’.

Ms Baird, who is understood to have relocated from her native Queensland with family – she was schooled in southeast Queensland’s Redlands region – was a “beautiful angel”, according to best friend Giorja Whitney.

“Words can’t express how much you mean to me. We had so many plans, so many adventures. I miss you so much,” she said.

Sister Aprile, meanwhile, said the Baird family “wish (they) could have seen you fulfil your dreams”.

She described Mr Everett as Ms Baird’s “true love”.

Mr Poole, meanwhile, was “like an older brother” to friend of eight years Chloe Emanuel.

“If you ever needed him he’d be there for you. He was a great dad to his beautiful daughters. An amazing friend. I will truly miss Brady,” she said.
