Family of woman killed on holiday in Tasmania raise funds for funeral
The community is rallying around the family of a young Brisbane woman who tragically died alongside her partner while holidaying in Tasmania.

The family of a tourist found dead with her partner in are trying to raise funds so they can lay their daughter and sister to rest.
Leannedra Kang, 24, and Takahiro Toya, 26 went missing on June 3 and were found dead days later in northeast river.
The couple were found nearby their crashed rental vehicle at Tebrakunna Road (Great Musselroe River) about 10km east of Pioneer on Friday 6.
The two were from Brisbane and were travelling Tasmania together.
Now, Ms Kang’s family are raising funds to help with travel and accommodation for the family and also to cover funeral and memorial arrangements for their “cherished youngest child”.
The GoFundMe page was launched by family friend Xuan Ni Tan, who lives in Western Australia, who started the fund on June 8.
In just two days, as of Tuesday, over $30,000 has been raised by more than 400 donors.
Ms Tan said on the page the funds would be transferred to Alex Kang, Ms Kang’s sister.
“The Kang family is now navigating not only the immense grief of losing their beloved Leannedra but the logistic and financial challenges that come with such an unexpected loss, including dealing with coronial investigations away from home,” Ms Tan wrote on the page.
The total goal for the fund is $50,000.
Messages from donors are offering condolences to the family.
