A RECENTLY shared walk-through video shows the new design of The Gladstone Hotel development.

The 40-second clip was posted online by McNab, who are the lead contractor of redevelopment.

The site on Ruthevn St, home to the former Gladstone Hotel, will transform into an accommodation and lifestyle hub.

It is the heart of the CBD and is the perfect location for a this five-storey development which will feature 104 short-stay rooms, a beer garden and laneway retail area.

The Gladstone Hotel is being bought to life by Kenneth Wagner and the concept design has been created by Mondo Architects.

Mr Wagner and a business partner bought the hotel at auction in early 2016 and the pub was demolished in December last year.

There have been several plans submitted into the Toowoomba Regional Council, with Mr Wagner getting the green light in September.

The development is hoped to be completed by the end of 2019.
