SUNNY skies will make for a great day out at the Toowoomba Languages and Cultures Festival but brace yourself for some windy conditions in the afternoon.

The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting a zero chance of rain but conditions to turn windy later today.

The brisk start to Toowoomba's weather this morning will make way for a top temperature of about 17C but the west to north-westerly winds of 30-35km/h could bring a cooler snap in the afternoon.

There's a very high fire danger rating in place with the UV predicted to reach a high until about 2.20pm.

Similar weather conditions will continue tomorrow with a minimum of 4C and top of 17C with no rain forecast.
