All the glamour from the Tigers’ best and fairest

Tigers players and partners stepped out in their finery on Tuesday night for the club’s best and fairest awards at the Palladium at Crown.

The Jack Dyer Medal was won by Daniel Rioli who has requested a trade.

His partner, DJ Paris Lawrence, paid tribute to her other half.

“What a moment, you deserve this, you always give your all and carry yourself so admirably. I love you.”

The night was a chance for a number of the club’s players from their recent premiership era to say goodbye.

Dustin Martin arrived alone at the event and said he was “happily retired”.

Liam Baker, Jack Graham and Shai Bolton were also all at the event as they eye moves to new clubs next season.

Richmond president John O’Rourke handed some departing premiership stars a backhander in a not-so-subtle speech.

Jy Simpkin hard launches new love at Roos’ best and fairest

North Melbourne co-captain Jy Simpkin has stepped out with a new partner at the club’s best and fairest night.

Simpkin, who separated earlier this year from model Demi Brereton, unveiled a new romance with vegan chef, model and author Chloe Wheatland, who has more than one million followers on her vegan Instagram page.

The couple posed on the blue carpet for the Syd Barker Medal later won by star midfielder Luke Davies-Uniacke.

Curtis Taylor and Hannah Ilhan are still going strong, while re-signed forward Cam Zurhaar was accompanied by brunette beauty Eliza Byrne.

Ruckman Tristan Xerri was second in the voting and is due to marry Maddy Fenech next month.

All-Australian squad member Harry Sheezel, accompanied by partner Mischa Rajch, was third.

Young players George Wardlaw and Zane Duursma are happy in love with their stunning partners, as is Jaidyn Stephenson with model Emily Vincent, while Bailey Scott’s partner Bella Henry was a standout in white.
