A teenage boy was arrested in Adelaide’s northeast on Thursday after an elderly man was allegedly stabbed in the neck.

A teenager has been arrested in Adelaide’s northeastern suburbs after he allegedly stabbed an elderly man in the neck on Thursday.
Police and emergency services were called to Zuleika St, Surrey Downs, to reports that a man had been stabbed by a person known to him about 9.45am.
On arrival, police said they located a 77-year-old man with a stab wound to the neck.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested and charged a 17-year-old boy for recklessly cause harm to another.
He had his bail refused and he is expected to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court this week.
