“It’s been a long time coming and we cannot wait for South Aussies to be able to get their hands on these delicious treats at selected independent supermarkets and Woolworths stores across the state.”

Brother and sister duo Jimmy, 11, and Maple, 8, Apostolakos are looking forward to trying the cakes.

“I (am) really excited,” Maple said.

“My dad said it has only taken 150 years to put FruChocs and Frog Cakes together.”

When Jimmy heard of the iconic pairing he thought it was “cool” and believes the cakes will taste “soft and sweet”.
