The truck driver has been charged following a horrific crash that killed his 44-year-old passenger in the Adelaide Hills.

A man has been charged following a fatal crash on a winding Adelaide Hills road.
Police and emergency services were called to Torrens Hill Rd at Millbrook about 8.30am on Saturday after reports of a serious crash involving a truck carrying two people.
Two men were cut out of the truck, but the passenger – a 44-year-old Klemzig man – died at the scene.
The driver, a 46-year-old Blair Athol man was taken to Modbury hospital.
He was released from hospital around 2pm and was arrested by Major Crash Officers.
The man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
He was also issued an instant loss of licence until further order.
The white Mitsubishi truck appears to have hit a tree on Torrens Hill Road and then the road barrier.
The left side of the cabin is caved in and the left side of the vehicle was torn off.
The road at the site was wet, with fog in the area on Saturday morning.
Two CFS trucks, from Cudlee Creek and Paracombe and major crash investigators attended the scene.
Torrens Hill Road was closed between Paracombe and Gorge roads for some time.
This man’s death is the 62nd life lost on SA roads compared with 40 at the same time last year.
