Residents flee as suspicious fire destroys home, car at Paradise in Adelaide’s east
The occupants of an eastern suburbs house and their dogs have been forced to flee in the night after a huge suspicious fire ripped through their home – one of a string of blazes across Adelaide.

A ferocious fire forced residents and their dogs to flee as their eastern suburbs home was destroyed in what police say is a suspicious fire.
Police and fire crews were called to Melville Rd, Paradise, about 2.30am on Tuesday, after reports of a house fire.
On arrival the garage was fully alight.
Seven appliances and one command car, along with 26 firefighters extinguished the blaze, however the whole house and a car in the garage were destroyed.
Both occupants and their dogs were unharmed.
Police say fire investigators are going to the house to examine the cause, and the blaze is currently being treated as suspicious.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity or has any information that may assist the investigation to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
It comes as police probe three car fires in the southern suburbs in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Police and fire crews were called to Pebble Ct, Aldinga Beach, about 1.15am after reports of a car fire.
Patrols found a Kia had been set alight in the driveway of a home and a neighbouring fence was damaged.
The Kia was reported stolen from a Plympton home on Monday morning.
Crime scene investigators have gone to the scene while police also investigate another car fire after two cars were set alight in the driveway of a home at Moana just hours later.
Just after 4am on Tuesday, police and firefighters were called to a home on Commercial Rd after a Hyundai SUV and Subaru station wagon went up in smoke.
Both vehicles were destroyed in the blaze.
