Police have paused the search for the missing head of a Port Lincoln man, who was allegedly murdered and beheaded by his partner and former Beauty and the Geek contestant Tamika Chesser.
Emergency services have been scouring reserves, parks, bushland in and around Port Lincoln for the missing remains of 39-year-old Julian Story.
Water crews, including specialist police divers and SES volunteers, have also been searching the water around the Port Lincoln pier and bay.
But their extensive operation has not retrieved Julian’s head, with police saying the search would be paused “for now” and may resume at a “later stage”.
Police are now reviewing a “significant” amount of CCTV footage to determine if any other areas require searching and “may return” to Port Lincoln.
They have released CCTV of Tamika – dressed in black – walking through Flinders Park and
Pioneer Park with her dogs in the days following the alleged murder.
Police are still trying to piece together her movements between midnight on Tuesday night (June 17) and the fire on Thursday afternoon (June 19).
Emergency services were called to the couple’s Flinders Highway unit on June 19, after their neighbour rushed into their home to put out a smouldering pile inside the property.
Police allege that pile was Mr Story’s remains.
The former Beauty and the Geek contestant and OnlyFans content creator has been charged with murder and remains in James Nash House.
