23-year-old pedestrian dead after horror hit by truck on Southern Expressway
A young man is dead after he was hit by a truck on the Southern Expressway on Wednesday.

A young man has died after he was hit by a truck on the Southern Expressway at Bedford Park on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old man from Sellicks Beach died at the scene.
The truck driver, a 40-year-old northern suburbs man was not physically injured in the crash which occurred about 12.15pm.
Major Crash investigators attended and examined the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Police interview witnesses and urge anyone with any information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The road is closed for southbound traffic from the Bedford Park entrance, with emergency crews clear the scene. Police believe it will be reopened shortly.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area if possible.
The man is the 89th loss of life on South Australian roads so far this year, compared to 57 at the same time last year.
