Man charged after huge weapon haul seized in from storage unit in Para Hills West
Police have seized a large haul of weapons including firearms, knives and ammunition from a storage unit, with one man in court.
A man has faced court after police seized an astonishing array of weapons including guns, knives, swords and ammunition from a storage unit in Adelaide’s north.
Police investigators attended a storage facility on Main North Rd, Para Hills West on Friday, November 28 and conducted a search of a unit.
Police allege they found three BB guns, two gel blasters, a taser, an assortment of live ammunition, 25 edged weapons including machetes and daggers and eight stolen vehicle registration plates.
Some of those BB guns resembling modern assault weaponry, sniper rifles and hand guns.
Later on the same day, the alleged owner of the unit, 27-year-old Kyle Matthew Pagetfrom Ingle Farm was arrested and charged with several offences including possessing a firearm without a licence, possessing an unregistered firearm, possessing a prohibited weapon, and unlawful possession.
He is yet to enter any pleas.
The man was refused police bail and appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates court on Monday, December 1where he was granted bail to return to court next year.
