Aussie pop star Guy Sebastian flies into Adelaide to sing at Sara Shahin and Jonas Humaidi’s EOS by SkyCity wedding reception

Adelaide billionaire Dr Sam Shahin spared no expense for his beautiful eldest daughter’s wedding, including flying one of Australia’s most iconic voices to sing.

Adelaide billionaire Dr Sam Shahin spared no expense to ensure his eldest daughter had a magical wedding day, surprising her by flying in one of Australia’s most iconic voices to sing during the couple’s reception.

Adelaide-raised Guy Sebastian sang while Sara Shahin and her partner of six years Jonas Humaidi shared their first dance on Saturday afternoon in the EOS by SkyCity ballroom.

The Battle Scars singer played the bridal waltz song, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You as well as a special set for the happy couple.

Media personality Mark Soderstrom was the event MC.

The pair exchanged their vows earlier in the day at the Shahin’s family property in Burnside in front of around 275 guests.

One of three Shahin children, Sara, 25, wore a dress by Alin Le’Kal for the wedding, which featured florals by The Queen Quarters and was organised by wedding planner Montana Birt.

Dr Shahin, managing director of The Bend Motorsport Park and whose family founded OTR empire, said Jonas, 29, has “swept his princess off her feet”.

“It’s all I wanted as our legacy in our children — to raise kind children, and she embodies that,” Dr Shahin said. Picture: Lost in Love Photography

“It is one of life’s great pleasures to share happiness with your children. He is a respectful, good man. They will make a wonderful couple,” he told The Sunday Mail.

Dr Shahin described Sara as an “angel”.

“If one had to script or design an angel, her creation will be quite close.

“Intelligent, considerate, beautiful, funny and above all else — a kind heart.

“It’s all I wanted as our legacy in our children — to raise kind children, and she embodies that.

“Tanja, myself, Serena, Zade and Chino wish them the happiest of days ahead in their married life.”
