Emergency services respond to serious crash on Augusta Highway Beaufort

Police and emergency services are currently responding to a serious crash on the Augusta Highway at Beaufort, just north of Port Wakefield.

Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious crash at Beaufort near Port Wakefield, an hour north of Adelaide.

At about 5.25pm on Thursday, police were called to the Augusta Highway, approximately 4km north of Beaufort after reports of a crash involving a truck and a motorbike.

The Augusta Highway has been closed between Branch Hill Road and Pipeline Road.

Police have asked people to be patient while crews work to clear the area.

Any vehicle larger than a semi-trailer will not be able to access local diversions and will need to park up.
