Packaging company Detmold Group is consolidating eight sites and up to 240 staff in a new corporate headquarters at its Regency Park site.

Construction of the new three-level, 5100sq m facility on Regency Rd will begin in the coming weeks and be ready for occupation at the end of 2026.

It will feature formal and informal meeting spaces with an open-plan design, breakout areas, on-site parking, end-of-trip facilities, and an on-site cafe, opening onto a green outdoor terrace.

Detmold Group chief executive Sascha Detmold Cox said the new headquarters represented a “strategic investment in the future of the Detmold Group”.

“Purpose-built with sustainability, collaboration and employee wellbeing in mind, our new corporate home integrates contemporary design with environmentally-responsible solutions and an open-plan layout that supports collaboration and innovation,” she said.

“Bringing our Detmold family under one roof will help foster stronger connections, knowledge sharing, and a unified culture aligned with our core values.”

Staff from Detmold’s eight Adelaide sites will be consolidated under one roof at the new facility, which will be built alongside existing manufacturing and warehousing facilities.

Adelaide construction business Centina and Studio Nine Architects have been appointed to build and design the new facility, which will adopt several green design initiatives including rainfall harvesting and recirculation.

Site works for the development will commence this month, with the project scheduled for completion in October 2026. Manufacturing at Detmold’s Brompton site will continue, with plans to relocate those operations to Regency Park within the next five years.
