A massive truck carrying watermelons caused a sticky situation for morning motorists after crashing at Waterloo Corner on Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene just after 5.30am and arrived to find a B-double truck rolled over on the Waterloo Interchange off-ramp.
According to 7NEWS, the driver was just negotiating a roundabout when he lost control and the huge truck flipped onto its side.
The truckie was trapped until paramedics and firefighters were able to climb up onto the rig and rescue him.
He was taken to hospital for treatment of a broken arm.
Northbound traffic was closed to all traffic for most of the morning and police advised motorists to take an alternate route while the scene was cleared.
