The search is on to find Brandon Aaron, who turns 23 this month, and has a claim to fame as the bub born in Adelaide Central Market.
Back in 2002 Julie-Ann Nottle gave birth to a baby in the market’s toilets.
Brandon Aaron arrived at 1.40pm on Saturday, April 27, with the help of two women – sisters Tracey and Denise – and ambulance officers who arrived a short time later.
Ms Nottle, then 31, was on a bus heading the Women’s and Children’s Hospital for a check-up.
At 1.10pm she had to get off because she thought she needed to use the bathroom.
``I didn’t actually think I was in labour,’’ she told The Advertiser at the time.
Ms Nottle was leaning against the wash basin in the market’s toilets when Tracey and Denise walked in.
Before she could lie down baby Brandon Aaron ``fell out’’. ``I called him Aaron after the ambulance man who caught the arm on the way out,’’ she said, referring to SA Ambulance Service paramedic, Aaron Turner, then 27.
More than two decades later, The Advertiser is searching for Brandon and his mum.
