Six people have been injured following an explosion at recycling plant in Shepperton in northern Victoria.
Emergency services were called to the recycling facility on Numurkah Rd about 8.30am on Tuesday following reports of a gas explosion.
Two people were treated at the scene before being transported by helicopter to Melbourne.
A further four people were taken to Goulburn hospital by road.
A police spokesperson confirmed WorkSafe were on the scene and would be investigating the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
