MARK Richard Sutton will spend the next month behind bars for repeated drink driving offences.

Sutton was intercepted for a random breath test in the early hours of April 22 on the Warrego Hwy at Macalister.

He had a blood alcohol level of 0.115, and pleaded guilty to drink driving when he appeared in Dalby Magistrates court on Tuesday.

Acting magistrate Roger Stark noted it was Sutton's third such conviction for the crime in the past five years.

Mr Stark said Sutton also had a "significant history" of drink driving, unlicensed driving and dangerous operation of a vehicle.

"It is concerning you have returned to the same behaviour today," he said.

Mr Stark sentenced Sutton to three months in prison, with a parole date of June 13.

He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.
