YOU might think you're organised for Christmas, but there is always something you need to get last- minute says shopper Lauren Hinds.
She and her husband spent yesterday at the crowded Grand Central Shopping Centre picking up all the bits and bobs she still needed for Christmas.
"We're more organised than we thought we were, but there are still a few things we needed to get," she said.
The Silver Shop staff member Talisha O'Brien spent the day at work helping people find all those special last minute gifts they were after.
"It's very busy," she said. "I wasn't here last Christmas but I've been told it is busier than last year."
"We're just going non-stop and on the ball all the time."
Ms O'Brien said Pandora charms and bracelets were the most popular item in the store during the Christmas rush.
However, over at the Australian Geographic store, manager Megan Lyndon said the store was busy dealing with the Christmas rush but it wasn't as busy as last year's trade.
"We've been hit pretty badly, but last year was a lot busier," she said.
She said the midnight trade on Thursday was when the store was at its busiest.
"At about 10pm it just started getting crazy," she said.
She said she was also surprised by what people were purchasing in the last minute rush.
"Mostly it's been telescopes, not the little stocking fillers. We've been selling out of our telescopes. I think everyone in Toowoomba will have on this year.
