MOTORISTS have been advised of lane closures on the Toowoomba Range this weekend.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads said there would be single lane closures to enable roadworks on the down lanes.
Final asphalt surfacing, sealing and line marking of the down lanes will occur from midday Saturday, May 31, until 6am on Monday, June 2.
This work will involve single lane closures under traffic control.
A spokesman said motorists should drive to the changed conditions and obey all signage for their own safety and the safety of road workers.
"The lane closures will affect both the left and right lanes at different times during the weekend," the spokesman said.
"These lane closures will affect traffic on the down lanes from East St to the Saddle, which is mid-way down the Toowoomba Range."
