ROAD CLOSURES: List of streets affected in Toowoomba region

THE impact left by ex-tropical Cyclone Debbie is still being felt, with roads closed in Toowoomba, the Darling Downs and Lockyer Valley.

THE impact left by ex-tropical Cyclone Debbie is still being felt, with roads closed in Toowoomba, the Darling Downs and Lockyer Valley.

Motorists are advised not to drive in flood water - if it's flooded, forget it.

Roads closed

Toowoomba

  • McDougall St and South St intersection: Closed at the western end of South St and southern end of McDougall St.

Meringandan

  • Spies Rd

Millmerran

  • Millmerran - Cecil Plains Road: closed at Bostock Road intersection and just south of Cecil Plains.

Oakey

  • Station St
  • Earl St

Jondaryan

  • Mt Tyson Rd at Motley

Pittsworth

  • Jondaryan-Mt Tyson Rd

Roads open with caution

Toowoomba

  • Mackenzie St: Water over road in vicinity of South St.

Oakey

  • Jondaryan-Evanslea Rd: Water over road.
  • Boundary St: Water over road at Dry Ck floodway.

Pittsworth

  • Pittsworth-Oakey Rd: Water over road at Mt Tyson Rd intersection and Moran Rd intersection.
  • Gore Hwy: Water over road at Halls (in vicinity of poultry farm).
  • Kingsthorpe-Haden Rd: Water over road at Yalangur Crossing.
  • Oakey-Cooyar Rd: Water over road on floodway after the Oakey turn off.
  • Kudo - Silverleigh Rd: Water over road.
  • Pechey-Maclagan Rd: Water over road about 5km west of Goombungee.

Ballard / Mount Lofty

  • Jones Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.

Withcott

  • Gittins Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.

Postmans Ridge

  • Paynter Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.

Helidon

  • Turner St: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.

Grantham / Veradilla

Grantham Scrub Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.

Lower Tenthill

  • Lower Tenthill Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.

Gatton

  • Robinsons Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.
  • Smithfield Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.

Glenore Grove

  • Otto Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.

Regency Downs

  • Staatz Quarry Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.

  • Oakey-Pittsworth Rd, between Mt Tyson turn off and Moran Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to heavy rain.

Dalby

  • Moonie Hwy, Dalby to Moonie: Road closed to all traffic due to heavy rain.

Kurrowah / Millmerran

  • Millmerran Cecil Plains Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to heavy rain.

Condamine

  • Leichardt Hwy, Undulla Ck Crossing: Road closed to all traffic due to heavy rain.

Tingun

  • Blue Hills Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to heavy rain.

Roma

  • Miscamble St East: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.
  • Short St: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.
  • Lovell St: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.
  • Knayers Ln: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.
  • Euthulla Rd: Road closed to all traffic due to flash flooding.
